    What is an Alumni

There are three types of alumni -

  • Players and Coaches who have moved or retired from soccer.
  • Adults who have kids who have moved or gone off to college.
  • Families who have moved from Louisiana
Once a player ceases to register with their local organization or LSA, they disappear from the system. This page is an attempt to help/allow/pursue/encourage alumni participation.

Read and Subscribe to the Far Post

LSA publishes the Far Post magazine quarterly which is sent automatically to every registered player. This publication contains stories about Louisiana players and coaches, award information, schedule information etc. Families who have no registered member can still receive the publication (and as soon as I figure out how I'll let youl know)

    Join Your Local Organization

LSA is the support organization and bridge between the local organizations and USSF... One way people can support soccer is to volunteer with the LSA affiliated local organizations and help with meetings, tournaments.

    Coach

Many people get involved in soccer as a coach so their child will have a team on which to play. Many have found coaching to be very rewarding. Coaching Classes are offered at all levels. To volunteer or get more information on coaching contact your Local Organization

    Referee

The opportunities/need for Referees is at an all time high. Besides high school, youth, premier and adult leagues, Louisiana now has one professional outdoor team, two pro indoor teams and many college teams. The need for referees continues to be great. It offers exercise, pay, supporting a sport/players, a way to increase your knowledge of the game, and abuse. A variety of courses are offered for referees of all categories. More information can be found at The Louisiana Referee Association Link

    Volunteer

The reason most players get to play is because of a large dedicated group of volunteers. State and local organizations
